Since 1952, when we started to develop polyslider tape, we have created a variety of products using plastic molding technology and expanded our business into industrial parts, home appliances, automobiles, and medical devices.
Since our founding, we have always done our utmost to meet our customers' needs, maintaining high quality, implementing innovative technologies, reducing costs by rigorously enhancing productivity, and establishing a production system that adheres strictly to deadlines, and have consistently delivered safe and reliable products and customer satisfaction.

- 1952
- Asahi Polyslider Seisakusyo established as a private limited company at Nishiawaji Higashiyodogawa-ku Osaka.
- 1971
- Kuse Plant opened at Misaki Kuse-cho Maniwa-gun (currently, Misaki, Maniwa), Okayama.
- 1982
- Company name changed to Asahi Polyslider Company, Limited.
- 1983
- Production of medical devices started.
- 1987
- Full-scale production of lancets started.
- 2005
- Industrial land and building adjacent to Kuse Plant purchased to expand business. (Total site area: 32,860m². Total floor area: 26,000m².)
- 2008
- Head Office relocated to Nakanoshima, Osaka.
- 2015
- APS America LLC (Georgia, USA) established as a subsidiary.
- 2017
- Construction of central building (first phase) at Kuse Plant. (3-storey, steel-frame building. Total floor area: 9,100m².)
