Corporate Policy

Asahi Polyslider Company, Limited has formulated several corporate policies to ensure that we engage in sound business activities. The following policies are communicated to all company employees and disclosed to the public.

Quality Policy

Asahi Polyslider Company, Limited believes that continuously improving quality is essential to gaining customer trust and has established the following quality policy.

  • Always deliver high quality products to our customers through superior production technology, employee training to ensure compliance with work procedures, thorough maintenance of manufacturing equipment, and 5S activities aimed at maintaining a tidy and orderly manufacturing site.
  • Ensure that our quality management system complies with the requirements of laws, regulations, and international standards, and that it is implemented by all employees, who maintain its effectiveness and strive for its continual improvement.
  • Regularly review the level to which each department and division achieves the quality and environmental targets, progress in efforts to achieve those targets, and the details of any defects that occurred, and set higher targets.

Environmental Policy

Asahi Polyslider Company, Limited is conscious of the problems of the rapidly changing global environment and believes that we should contribute to the realization of a sustainable society. We have therefore established the following environmental policy.

  • Strive to conserve energy, reduce waste, properly manage chemical substances contained in our products, comply with environmental laws and regulations, prevent environmental pollution, and protect the environment.
  • Ensure that our environmental management system complies with the requirements of laws, regulations, and international standards, and that it is operated by all employees, who maintain its effectiveness and strive for its continual improvement.
  • Regularly review the level to which each department and division achieves the quality and environmental targets, progress in efforts to achieve those targets, and the environmental performance indicators, and set higher targets.

Health and Safety

Asahi Polyslider Company, Limited strives to ensure a safe and comfortable work environment and support the good health of our employees to enhance the quality of our products and operations and the morale of our employees.

  • Ensure safety and good hygiene in the workplace and maintain appropriate working conditions. In addition, take the necessary measures to prevent occupational accidents, illnesses, and emergencies such as monitoring conditions and preparing emergency measures.
  • Take safety measures to prevent accidents and health problems with the machinery and equipment we use, including our production facilities and devices.
  • Encourage employees to acquire the necessary qualifications and improve the skills of every employee so as to prevent work-related accidents.

Basic Human Rights Policy

Asahi Polyslider Company, Limited respects the human rights of every employee and treats them with dignity.

  • Prohibit forced labor and human trafficking through violence, threats, confinement, or other means that unreasonably constrain mental or physical freedom in our business activities.
  • Prohibit the employment or labor of children under 16 years of age, and prohibit late-night work or other work that may endanger their health or safety by children under 18 years of age in our business activities.
  • Guarantee working hours, holidays, vacations, and wages as required by law, and never discriminate in any way on the basis of race, color, age, sex, disability, ethnicity, marital status, nationality, political affiliation, religion, or gender identity, nor treat any person inhumanely.

Fair Trade and Ethics

Asahi Polyslider Company, Limited strives to ensure a safe and comfortable work environment and to manage the health of our employees to improve the quality of our products and operations and the morale of our employees.

  • Never engage in extortion, embezzlement, corruption or corrupt practices, including offering or receiving bribes or other improper benefits in any of our business relationships.
